Resurrection School recently held a fundraiser to support the Knights of Columbus annual Hunger Bowl, which helps the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. We were able to donate $681 to the cause. Ashley Newell, Executive Director of the St. Vincent de Paul Evansville District, offered the following thank you to our students:

  “Because of you, the 9th annual Friday Knights Hunger Bowl was a success. Together we raised $38,465 for the Evansville St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Your generosity ensures that our neighbors in need have access to nutritious food, household essentials, and personal care items that protect their health and dignity. For many families, this support means they can keep the lights on, pay rent, or cover vital medical expenses without having to choose between these needs and putting food on the table.

  This year’s impact is especially significant. We recently lost a major supplier who had been providing approximately $120,000 in groceries annually. Your contribution helps fill that gap, keeping our shelves stocked and our doors open for every family who turns to us for help.”
